What's important to us when booking events?

What's important to us when booking events?

By Sian Potter

After what feels like the LONGEST January on record, things are really ramping up. At the start of the year it may be quiet with events, but the real focus is planning and booking in events. Booking in events is really hard as you want to make sure that your time is spent wisely at events where you can maximise your chances of selling as much as possible, however we make sure that we do the RIGHT events, and by that, I mean the events that mean a lot to us and our community.

We have worked hard to maintain spots at some of the most prestigious events in the county, and whilst these are fantastic financially, we also make sure that we do the local events that need our support and that have some of our most loyal customers in attendance. We built this little business from our roots here in Caistor, with some of the most wonderful and supportive people and we feel like we owe them some loyalty back which is why you will find us at these events. We also LOVE these events as it means we can slow down a little and get time to chat to everyone. If you’ve visited us at any of the other events that are very busy, you’ll sometimes notice that we don’t even get chance to turn around from the coffee machine! Which is great, but sometimes we want to see all of your lovely faces!

Whilst I am on the subject, have you checked our events page? We updated it with just some of the events coming up and its one hell of a line up. I’m so excited for the summer, there are some really exciting events to be part of. You can find a list of events on the website, it’s worth a gander!

So, with Valentine’s Day completed, the build up to Mother’s Day and Easter begins. The sunshine is coming, the daffodils are pushing through and the sweet smell of BBQ’s and Pinot Grigio in the garden is almost upon us! Hang on in there!

Speak to you all again soon
