Every order that comes through our website, every visit to our stand at events, every recommendation to a friend... it all helps our small business continue doing what we love. But what many people don't see is that every Choowee product is supporting much more than just our bakery.

When I created The Choowee Cookie Company, I knew I wanted to bake cookies that people genuinely couldn't stop thinking about. I wanted them to be indulgent, packed with flavour and made with ingredients I'd happily use in my own kitchen at home. 

That meant one thing from the very beginning: no cutting corners. 

I spend a lot of time choosing ingredients that go into every cookie. It's not simply a case of ordering the cheapest option or picking whatever's easiest to get hold of. Every ingredient has to be chosen because of its quality and flavour. 

Callebaut chocolate gives our cookies that rich, indulgent chocolate flavour. We tend to use their dark chocolate in most of our recipes because it creates a deeper, more intense chocolate flavour that really shines through in every bite. It's made without palm oil too, so it's a choice I feel good about. We use Vanilla Guys Premium Bourbon Vanilla Puree because the flavour is incredible, and it comes from another passionate small business that cares just as much about quality as we do.  

Our flour and sugar are proudly British because, whenever I can, I want to support British farmers. Our free-range eggs come from two different local egg farmers. They're fresh, fantastic quality, and it's another way of supporting people who care deeply about what they produce. 

For me, that's what being a small business is about. 

Small businesses have a way of lifting each other up. Behind every ingredient is another person who has poured their time, passion and expertise into creating something exceptional. By choosing those suppliers, I'm not only making cookies taste better, but I'm also supporting other hardworking businesses and British producers wherever possible. 

I genuinely believe you can taste the difference. 

It's why our cookies are rich, buttery, chocolatey and packed with flavour in every bite. It isn't by accident; it's the result of carefully chosen ingredients, plenty of taste testing (of course!) and never settling for 'good enough'. 

So when you choose Choowee, you're getting far more than just a cookie. 

You're supporting a small business that believes quality should always come first. You're helping us support local suppliers, British farmers and other small businesses who share that same passion for doing things properly.
