The Choowee Father's Day Gift Guide

The Choowee Father's Day Gift Guide

By Sian Potter

Father’s Day is just around the corner, so if you’re still wondering what to get the Dad, “who doesn’t need anything,” we’ve got you covered - and we promise there isn’t a pair of socks in sight!

We’ve pulled together a hand-picked selection of some of our local favourites, that we’re sure Dad will love - from tea and coffee to hot sauce and cheeses and yes, of course, there’s some cookies in there too.

So whether you’re treating Dad, Grandad, a father figure, or just using the day as an excuse to support brilliant local makers (and maybe grab a little something for yourself... no judgement here), this guide is packed with feel-good, flavour-filled ideas.

For the Dads that mean business…

Fred and Emily have the perfect choice, their silver cufflinks and collar stiffeners can be personalised for a thoughtful touch. Whether it’s initials, a date, or an inside joke, add a little bit of detail that goes a long way.

For the coffee lovers…

If Dad starts their day with a brew that’s borderline ceremonial and has VERY strong opinions on how long to brew, why not treat him to Stokes Blue Mountain Blend Coffee - a versatile and delicious coffee that can be brewed in a number of ways.

Pssttt… it’s what we use in our Stokes Mocha Cookies, so we can not only confirm it’s delicious, but we also know it’s going to be a hit with the coffee lovers this Father’s Day.

Dad’s not a coffee drinker? If Grandad prefers a cup of Earl Grey, don’t worry, Stokes also has a selection of teas, and you can buy a tea selection box.

And what goes perfectly with coffee?

Cookies. Obviously.

But not just any cookies - Choowee cookies.

Unfortunately our Father’s Day Boxes are now sold out, however you can still get Dad something special with our Choowee Gift Cards. Or, if Dad is still craving cookies, we have our ‘Baked With Love Boxes’ available as a perfect belated Father’s Day gift.

A bit of Rock’ n Roll…

Is Dad a Bowie lover? Is Grandad all for a bit of Rock’ n Roll? Then, The Little Gift House, just up the road in Caistor, has just the thing to make their walls sing this Father’s Day.

From iconic artwork to subtle nods to music legends, there’s something to suit every taste and add a bit of personality, whether that’s to their office or garden shed.

For the Dad’s who were Born to Farm

Does Dad spend his days in wellies over work shoes? Born to Farm has all the gear to make Dad really smile this Father’s Day - from clothing to farm life favourites and all made with the countryside in mind!

And don’t forget the card…

How can you forget the Father’s Day card? Pop into In Good Hands in Cleethorpes, where you’ll find a selection of cards alongside loads of work from local artists and makers (you may have seen us at its farmers’ markets before). Whether you want something heartfelt, funny, or cheeky, there’s a card that’s just right to top off your gift.

So there you have it! Whether he’s all about style, flavour, music, or just a good cookie (or seven), we hope this handpicked local line-up helps to guarantee your loved ones a day to remember (and maybe even means you can skip the socks this year).

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Choowee!
